Stretching nearly three miles along the community’s entire western boundary, Pelican Bay’s pristine, private beaches are maintained by an energetic staff. From 9 a.m. to sunset, attendants are happy to set up lounge chairs, umbrellas and cabanas, as well as assist members with sailboats, kayaks and other equipment. All beaches feature indoor/outdoor dining, with a full-service bar and take-out options, as well as fitness classes, shower and restroom facilities, handicap ramps and beach wheelchairs.
In order to preserve the area’s natural beauty, beaches can only be accessed by the Pelican Bay tram system or a boardwalk stroll through the mangroves. There are two access points: North Beach and South Beach.
